You do not need a long itinerary. These four stops cover river, reef, town, and table.
Barangay Bojo is the heart of Aloguinsan tourism. A guided boat follows the river through mangrove forest to the Tañon Strait. Local fishermen-turned-guides point out birds, trees, and how the community keeps the water clean. Visitor numbers are limited each day.
In Barangay Kantabogon, a stairway drops to a pocket beach of pale sand and clear water. Locals say a hermit once lived here. Today it is a marine protected area — good for a swim or snorkel, not for overnight camping.
The town center is walkable: coral-stone church, baluarte, and plaza. Come in the late afternoon when the light is softer and the streets are quieter.
A cultural stop between river and cove. Expect a simple farm lunch, local crafts, and a slower pace. If you want food included with a river package, reserve ahead.
